Djègbadji, the salt village
Canoe on the lagoon, Bird Island and the ancestral salt-making of the village women.
In Djègbadji, salt is much more than a product: it is an ancestral heritage and a true local treasure. For generations, the women have kept a unique craft alive: they gather salty soil, filter it with water, then heat the brine until precious white crystals appear. Between tradition and modernity, Djègbadji turns earth into salt and its women's know-how into pride.
