2. Scope
These terms apply to every booking of a guided tour made on this website. Booking implies full acceptance of these terms.
3. Tours and group size
The content of each tour (programme, duration, inclusions, options) is described on its page. Tours run for groups of at least 4 people. The agency may adapt the order of visits for safety, weather or access reasons, without changing the substance of the tour.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in CFA francs (XOF), per person, all taxes included. The euro amount is given for information only. Prices may vary depending on the season; the price applied is the one displayed when you confirm your booking. Options marked “optional” (lunch, workshops…) are not included unless stated and are quoted and paid on site.
5. Booking and payment
The booking is final once the full payment has been made online via FeexPay (MTN, Moov or Celtiis Mobile Money, or Visa/Mastercard bank card). For card payments, FeexPay adds card fees payable by the customer (about 3.5% for a card issued in the WAEMU zone, 3.9% otherwise), shown before payment. A confirmation e-mail with your booking reference is sent to you. Without payment, no place is reserved.
6. Cancellation by the customer
- More than 7 days before departure: full refund, minus payment fees charged by the payment provider.
- Between 7 days and 72 hours before departure: 50% refund.
- Less than 72 hours before departure or no-show: no refund. A date change may be offered depending on availability.
Cancellations must be sent by e-mail or WhatsApp with the booking reference.
7. Cancellation by the agency
If the agency must cancel a tour (minimum group not reached, force majeure, safety), the customer may choose between another date or a full refund. No other compensation can be claimed.
8. Right of withdrawal
Under Article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code (and equivalent rules applicable to consumers resident in the European Union), the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date. The cancellation conditions in Article 6 apply.
9. Customer obligations
Customers must be on time at the agreed meeting point, hold valid travel documents (passport, visa) and follow the guide’s safety instructions, particularly during boat and canoe activities. Customers are advised to take out travel insurance.
10. Liability
The agency is liable for the proper performance of the services it sells. It cannot be held liable for damage resulting from the customer’s fault, from an unforeseeable act of a third party or from force majeure.
11. Complaints and disputes
Any complaint must be sent to contact@danxcmeytotchewe.com within 30 days after the tour. These terms are governed by Beninese law. Failing an amicable agreement, disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Cotonou, without prejudice to the protective rules applicable to consumers in their country of residence.
